ABOUT RAW VEGANISM

Raw veganism is a lifestyle centered on consuming plant-based foods in their most natural state—uncooked and unprocessed. This approach emphasizes fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and sprouted grains, avoiding cooking methods that exceed 118°F (48°C) to preserve vital enzymes and nutrients.

Advocates of raw veganism highlight its numerous benefits, including improved digestion, enhanced energy levels, and a stronger connection to nature and sustainability. By embracing raw veganism, individuals often experience a deeper appreciation for mindful eating, nourishment, and the vibrant flavors of whole, living foods.

Whether you're exploring detox practices, seeking better health, or wanting to align your diet with eco-conscious values, raw veganism offers a pathway to wellness through simplicity, vitality, and balance.

Important Notes:

To ensure you have the best possible experience, here are some recommendations for preparing and attending the retreat:

Before the retreat

  1. Transition Your Diet: A week before the retreat, start reducing processed foods, caffeine, alcohol, refined sugars, and animal products to prepare your body for the raw vegan detox.

  2. Stay Hydrated: Begin increasing your water intake to support your body’s detoxification process.

  3. Set Intentions: Take some time to reflect on what you hope to achieve—physical renewal, emotional healing, or spiritual clarity—and bring those intentions with you.

  4. One week before the retreat begins, a WhatsApp group will be created for participants and their coaches for any necessary preparations, ensuring that each participant’s experience aligns with their personal goals for the retreat.

During the retreat

  1. Be Open: Embrace the practices, even those that are new or outside your comfort zone, with an open heart and mind.

  2. Listen to Your Body: If you need rest or adjustments, communicate with the facilitators. This is your time to nurture yourself.

  3. Engage Fully: Participate in all activities, including yoga, ceremonies, and sharing circles, to gain the most from your experience.

  4. Stay Hydrated: Continue drinking plenty of water, especially as you detox.

After the Retreat

  1. Ease Back Gradually: Reintroduce cooked foods, caffeine, and other staples slowly, focusing on maintaining a balanced, plant-based diet.

  2. Reflect and Integrate: Use your journal notes and insights from the retreat to integrate the lessons into your daily life.

  3. Continue the Practice: Incorporate mindfulness, meditation, and conscious eating into your routine to sustain the benefits.
